Don't let Danny Brown's overstated rep as a drug-rap hedonist overshadow his essential musicality-the yelping sing-song variation of his flow may have been initially inspired by Adderall, but his Detroit-raised enthusiasm for a wide scope of electronic music propels the way he goes in.
